Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster PS3 vs. PS4 Comparison

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster release date for the PlayStation 4 was announced by Square Enix in an official press release, and they also released some comparison screenshots showing the difference between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

It is interesting to see this comparison since the original release already ran at full HD 1080p on the PlayStation 3, but the PlayStation 4 release of the game seems to have some upgraded textures and better anti aliasing as well. You can check out this comparison in the gallery below (Left = PS3, Right = PS4).

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster will allow cross-save between the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. You can also switch between the classic soundtrack or the remastered soundtrack on the PlayStation 4. This feature was missing from the previous version of the game and has been added to the PlayStation 4 version of the game. This will also likely please a lot of the fans who hated the new remastered soundtrack and had no choice in that regards.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster will be released on the PlayStation 4 on May 12, 2015 in North America and May 14th, 2015 in Japan. This is a high definition re-release of the beloved PlayStation 2 classic, that was released last year on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

What do you think about the difference between the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4 version of the game? Let us know in the comments below.
