Capcom has released the first trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil game titled Resident Evil Revelations 2. The game is set to star the sister of Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and the daughter of Barry Burton, Moira Burton. You can check out its first official trailer below.
The trailer mainly shows the introduction of the game and gives a glimpse of some of the monsters from the game. We can also see the prison facility, which will be the main location for the game. The game definitely seems to focus on its survival horror aspect.
Revelations 2 is the sequel to the original 3DS release that was later ported to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It marked the series’s return to its Survival Horror roots and the sequel seems to be doing the same.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be an episodic release with each episode getting a weekly release. The game will also be available at retail albeit with a slightly higher price tag compared to the digital release. You can get each episode for $5.99 or get the whole Season (4 episodes) for $24.99. The retail version will cost $39.99 and will contain additional content that has yet to be detailed.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be released early 2015 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
