April’s Games With Gold Lineup To Include “Blockbuster” Games

Microsoft has teased the lineup for the upcoming Games with Gold for the month of April 2016. According to a tweet by the official Xbox One Twitter account, April will feature “blockbusters”.

While we haven’t received any official confirmation of the games with gold lineup for April, we do have the following tweet that teases the type of games that can be expected in April.

Games with Gold for March 2016 includes Lords of the Fallen and Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment. Both of these games have received a retail release for the Xbox One.

Xbox Live Games With Gold offers 2 free games for Xbox One and Xbox 360 each month. The Xbox 360 games are backwards compatible for the Xbox One which makes it 4 new games for Xbox One each month. Meanwhile Sony offers 2 free games for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita with their PlayStation Subscription each month.


Xbox Live Gold is a monthly subscription service that is necessary to play online multiplayer on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Users can opt for 1 year subscription for $49.99 or a monthly subscription for $9.99. In addition to monthly free games, Microsoft also offers weekly deals exclusive to the Xbox Live Gold members.

    I would really love for Xbox One:
    -Ryse: Son of Rome
    -Dead Rising 3

    and Xbox 360:
    – L.A. Noire (even if I have it in PC, I would prefer in my console.)
    – South Park The Stick of Truth! 🙂

      I agree on Noire. Because that means it’ll be bc and as I own it already, I can play it on my xbone. It’s doubtful though because they haven’t figured out multi disc games, and they’ve said all 360 gwg will be bc.
