Gears of War 4 Will Run At 1080p/30 FPS For Single Players, 60 FPS For Multiplayer

The Coalition has revealed the rendering resolution of Gears of War 4 on the Xbox One. In an interview with GameInformer, Rod Fergusson was asked about the resolution for the single player and multiplayer portion of the game.

According to Rod Fergusson, the game will run at native 1080p on the Xbox One. They are also targeting 30 fps for the single player and 60 fps for the multiplayer although the resolution of the multiplayer mode is still unknown. This is pretty much the same setup as Gears of War: Ultimate Edition that was released last August for the Xbox One.

In another interesting set of question, he was asked about a potential release of Gears of War 4 on the PC. The reply that he gave was rather interesting as he simply said that the game might “possibly” come to PC. While this is by no means an official confirmation, it does fit with the earlier rumors of games like Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 launching on same day and date for PC and Xbox One, just like Microsoft recently announced Quantum Break for Windows 10 and Xbox One.

Gears of War 4 is currently set for a release in Fall 2016. It is being developed by The Coalition under the direction of Rod Fergusson, who is a Gears of War series veteran.

It’s spelled, posse. Unless you meant you and your pussy, which makes more sense. Why do you care if it goes to PC, other than you’re an idiot?

Insult just because i said i wouldnt buy a game? Gears has never really interestd me but i always bought and supported it for the good of the xbox brand but now since it coming to PC microsoft basically is saying we dont need your support anymore so fine I wont give it to them. This game is probably going to be the worst gears anyway with the amount of development time it had just look at halo 5. I pre ordered and supported halo 5 but if it was anounced for pc i would had just bought wwe 2k16 over it instead. Microsoft move to pc is basically saying that their console gamers dont support their games so we are going to other platforms which is an insult. Gears can last on its own only on xbox it doesnt need a pc release to warrant a sequel quantum break sure but not gears or halo. Thats just pissing me off.

“since it coming to PC microsoft basically is saying we dont need your support anymore so fine I wont give it to them.” Microsoft is not saying that they don’t need your support, they just wanted to open Gears to a different market to gain more money. This is not a bad thing as it allows PC only gamers to play Gears. If they did not do this then they would have to wait for a Xbone emulator to play Gears4. Also, “Gears can last on its own only on xbox” no this is not true, Gears4 will become irrelevant once the next Xbox comes out (Not talking about scorpio) as by then Gears5 (or Gears of War: Judgment equivalent) will come out as well. The PC gaming market will increase the longevity of Gears4. I have two final things to say. 1 You should at least try playing Gears4 on PC before you dismiss it. 2 If you do play Gears4 with a PC, please don’t play it on an underpowered laptop or desktop.
