Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands’ New Update Will Add PvP Mode ‘Ghost War’

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting a brand new update on October 10th. This is a rather substantial update for the game because it finally adds the long teased 4 player PvP mode to the game. The mode is called Ghost War and it should be available for free to those who install the latest update on October 10th.

Ubisoft has also announced a free to play weekend for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands from October 12th till October 16th. This weekend will offer the whole game including the new Ghost War mode and it can be preloaded through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Store or Uplay.

Ghost War is a 4-versus-4 team deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game, where strategy is equally as important as skill. Using one of the 12 distinct classes, each with their own varied characteristics, weapons, perks and customization options, players will engage with enemies across eight unique maps. Ghost War also integrates new PvP mechanics, including suppressing fire and sound markers, to create a strategic and intense team-based multiplayer mode.

The development team is also planning to support this mode with new classes, new maps and new modes in the coming months.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can read our review of the game from here.
