Infinity Ward is working on a patch to fix Call of Duty: Ghosts frame rate issues on PS4

Call of Duty: Ghosts on PlayStation 4 had some technical and performance issues on PlayStation 4. According to Jeff Gertsmann of Giant Bomb, Infinity Ward is working on fixing the frame rate issue on PlayStation 4 through a patch.

Call of Duty: Ghosts has received quite a bit of controversy this time ranging from the 720p/1080p resolution debacle to frame rate issues on PlayStation 4. Not to mention the end game wasn’t well received by the critics and currently has a meta score below 80.

Giant Bomb‘s Jeff Gertsmann has been told that Infinity Ward is currently working on a patch to fix the performance issues on PlayStation 4. When the game faced performance issues, we did say that a patch could easily fix this since this isn’t such a demanding game to drop frames even at 1080p on PlayStation 4.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is running at 720p on Xbox One but holds a much steadier frame rate according to people who played it. The game has also been reviewed better on Xbox One by Polygon because of steadier frame rate compared to PlayStation 4.

Watch it be some kind of scam like new framerate lag fix DLC only 4.99 for new patch fix!

I own this game on the PS4 and it is definitely a problem. It’s so bad how the frame rate drops. It’s almost breakable.

  • You are flat out wrong

Too late, IW. I ain’t buying your shit port or any other future turds you squeze out. 🙂

i’m enjoying the game on ps3 so far, but i hope they patch any issues for the ps4 version by launch this friday.

    fix it, you lazy fuckers.

I heard the framerate only dips in single player modes….no one really buys cod for single player -__-

The game has been said to have frame rate drops multiple times so theres no use debating this. There is also no denying that this game was rushed for both next gen consoles, still frame rate hiccups can (and will be) patched the games resolution on the other hand, no so much.

Game is garbage regardless if the framerate is fixed.

Polygon is not a trusted game site

tell me about it. they gave CoD on XB1 the higher score due to frame rate? yet, BF4 on PS4 had better frame rate and resolution and the score was the same?

framerate drops weren’t noticeable … not to mention PS4 has better resolution sue, but looks better? no (all are 1080P screen caps, so don’t blame the capture…)

Biased reviewers, it happened all last gen too. When a game like Tomb Raider was better on PS3, nobody even mentioned it.

Polygon is an anti Sony site, their reviews of anything Sony is laughably low compared to average metacritic, it so obvious. Boycott them, they are not real journalists.

Cool… no sources and lack of wuotes make this seem vvery reliable…
