Infinity Ward is working on a patch to fix Call of Duty: Ghosts frame rate issues on PS4

Call of Duty: Ghosts on PlayStation 4 had some technical and performance issues on PlayStation 4. According to Jeff Gertsmann of Giant Bomb, Infinity Ward is working on fixing the frame rate issue on PlayStation 4 through a patch.

Call of Duty: Ghosts has received quite a bit of controversy this time ranging from the 720p/1080p resolution debacle to frame rate issues on PlayStation 4. Not to mention the end game wasn’t well received by the critics and currently has a meta score below 80.

Giant Bomb‘s Jeff Gertsmann has been told that Infinity Ward is currently working on a patch to fix the performance issues on PlayStation 4. When the game faced performance issues, we did say that a patch could easily fix this since this isn’t such a demanding game to drop frames even at 1080p on PlayStation 4.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is running at 720p on Xbox One but holds a much steadier frame rate according to people who played it. The game has also been reviewed better on Xbox One by Polygon because of steadier frame rate compared to PlayStation 4.
