God Of War PS4 Has A Reversible Cover That Is Inspired From DOOM

God of War PS4 is out now for the PS4. It is easily one of the most anticipated PS4 exclusive of this year. If you have bought a retail copy of the game, there is a good chance that you will end up with a surprise in the form of a reversible cover art that is arguably going to feel like it deserves a place on the front instead of the default artwork.

The reversible cover art is sadly available depending on your region. It is confirmed for the North American retail release but in certain EU countries, especially the day one edition boxart ones, it might not be available to use for others. If you haven’t seen the day one edition, it actually has another great artwork that is going to be better than the default art with Kratos and his son Atreus on a boat.

If this artwork looks similar to you, it was used by GameInformer for their coverage of God of War early this year. It is clearly inspired from DOOM and even the most recent DOOM release featured a reversible cover art that was drawn this way so it is easy to see the inspiration here.

God of War is available now exclusively for the PS4. It was developed by Sony Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
