God of War PS4 Voice Actor Hints At 2017 Release For The Game

God of War was revealed for the PS4 at E3 2016 although Sony hasn’t committed to a release date for it yet. The game has been missing in action ever since the original reveal but if we go by the listing on the official voice actor for Kratos in the game, it could potentially release in 2017.

Christopher Judge is the voice actor for God of War protagonist Kratos and his Twitter profile lists the game as a 2017 release. This doesn’t really confirm the game for this year since there is no official word for it and the official PlayStation Website still lists the game as ‘TBA – To Be Announced’. Still, this is an interesting development for the game and if it turns out to be true, we might get the game for PS4 this year.

God of War PS4 is a brand new game being developed by Sony Santa Monica Studio under the direction of Cory Barlog. The director has previously worked on God of War 2, which still maintains the title of the highest rated God of War game. Cory left Sony after his work on God of War 2 and returned for God of War PS4.

At the end of 2016, the game director Cory Barlog tweeted that the game was now playable from start to end which might point towards a release date soon.
