Halo 5: Guardians Won’t Be Coming To The Xbox 360

There is little to no reason for Xbox fans to hold on to their Xbox 360 as recently Microsoft revealed that Halo 5: Guardians will be not coming to the Xbox 360. While revealing their future plans, the General Manager and Studio Head of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross stated that Halo 5: Guardians is being developed solely for the Xbox One.

Bonnie Ross said, “In the past, ‘Halo’ games have pushed the Xbox forward, showcasing the console and its ecosystem in entertaining and innovative ways. Making a “Halo” game that runs at 60 frames per second, on dedicated servers, with the scope, features and scale we’ve been dreaming of for more than a decade, is non-trivial.”

She contincued, “It’s a task that we, at 343 Industries, are taking very seriously to ensure we deliver the ‘Halo’ game that fans deserve, and a game that is built from the ground up for Xbox One.”

With all that said, the company has promised to support the Xbox 360 and stated that if they kept on bringing out new Halo games on the Xbox 360 it will create a challenge for them and will keep the Xbox fans who still own a Xbox 360 from upgrading on to the Xbox One.

In my opinion, there is no use of owning an Xbox 360 any more. Fans should move on to the Xbox One where the gaming experience is much better compared to the Xbox 360. Some companies are developing less impressive titles for the Xbox 360, forcing fans to upgrade to the next-gen consoles and then again, the Next-Gen consoles have a lot more power to support games which are visually stunning and better performance vise.

Halo 5: Guardians comes out in Fall of 2015 and will be available exclusively for the Xbox One.
