Horizon Zero Dawn Day One Patch Is Surprisingly Small

Horizon Zero Dawn is all set to launch on February 28th for the PS4. It is being developed by Guerrilla Games who are known for their work on the Killzone franchise. While the game isn’t out yet, some users are lucky to find an early copy of the game.

There were some rumors going around talking about a potential day one patch for Horizon Zero Dawn that is over 16 GB, which seems to be rather huge for a game which was delayed multiple times. However Guerrilla Games has taken it to Twitter to confirm that the day one patch for Horizon Zero Dawn is just 250 MB.

The wording in their tweet indicates that the day one patch hasn’t been made available for download yet so it is possible that those who have an early copy are playing the game without a day one patch.

Horizon Zero Dawn is an upcoming action RPG that features a post-apocalyptic world full of robotic dinosaurs. The story mixes fantastical elements with science fiction making for some interesting scenarios.

Horizon Zero Dawn is being developed exclusively for the PS4 and it will release on February 28th. The game is developed by Guerrilla Games and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
