Mortal Kombat Co-Creator Ed Boon is no stranger to DLC with Mortal Kombat being his studios first foray within the field. Mortal Kombat’s DLC did extremely well. NetherRealm hopes to repeat that success with its DLC line-up for their recently released title Injustice: Gods Among Us. The first among four characters being Lobo.
Lobo was long speculated, among other obscure DC characters, to be featured in Injustice. He was first announced during NetherRealm’s promotional event for the game called Injustice Battle Arena. Subsequently, the studio announced that they would provide a gameplay trailer and a release date during the development team’s panel at C2E2 (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo) which was held at the McCormick Place on the south side of Chicago.
If NetherRealm’s track record is anything to go by, the public can safely assume the remaining DLC to be released by the end of the summer.
Lobo will be released and available for purchase May 7th for PS3, Xbox 360 and WII U.
