The first Kick Off game was officially announced in 1989 for the Amiga and the Atari ST. It came with several sequels, as well as Player Manager. The last game of Kick Off came 13 years ago and the series appears to make a comeback again as Dino Dini has been working with The Digital Lounge to make another version of the game known as Kick Off Revival. It will release on PS4 and PS Vita in 2016 but for now, there isn’t any official footage of the game.
According to Dino Dini, the game-play of Kick Off Revival will remain the same as of the older series. You can shoot the football anywhere on the field and the ball will also remain under your control. He also announced that the game will be made in 3D and different camera views would also be added in the game.
The purpose of this game is to reminisce the old series of Kick Off but it will be designed with the latest technology and equipment. You can also move your player in all directions by using the PS controller as compared to the eight directional joystick with only one button. In other words, it is the replica of Kick Off with improved graphics and performance.
