LittleBigPlanet VITA Devs Teasing PlayStation 3 Exclusive Port To VITA/PS4, Will Be Announced Soon

Double Eleven are the developers of the fantastic LittleBigPlanet VITA. They have also ported a couple of other games to the VITA and it seems like they are currently working on porting a PlayStation 3 exclusive to the VITA and PS4.

Lee Hutchinson is the founder of Double Eleven and he was talking about his new game for the VITA and PS4 on twitter.

According to Lee Hutchinson, the game that they are porting is a PlayStation exclusive title. It seems like they are porting it to both VITA and PS4. When asked if this game is a shooter by a user, Hutchinson replied that he doesn’t think they are that far from announcing it officially. Finally, he dropped the news that the game might be announced within a month.

It seems like Double Eleven is currently not working on any Xbox One title, as explained by Lee Hutchinson. While they are considering it, they have yet to code anything for the Xbox One.

Double Eleven are currently working on porting Frozen Synapse: Tactics to the VITA. It seems like this was not their only project for the VITA. What is this brand new mysterious PlayStation 3 exclusive port? This remains to be seen. We will keep you updated as soon as it is confirmed.

So what do you think this new title will be? Is it Puppeteer or the recently released Rain? Let us know in the comments below.

    Dead Nation, its obvious!

    • Dead Nation was never announced for the PS4. More importantly, it doesn’t seem to be a demanding game to run at 3 fps on VITA. I am leaning towards Puppeteer or Journey. The engine that is being used by Journey is already multiplatform for PS4/VITA and from the sound of it, they are working on optimization right now.

I have Dead Nation I don’t recall it running at 3 fps.

  • First guess is Journey, second is Uncharted 3, third is inFamous 2

    • Clate

My guess is The Last of Us, possibly Uncharted 3 but I do not think so as it would not move as much as The Last of Us as it has overshadowed Uncharted 3 for now.

      • I think The Last of Us is coming eventually, but it’s going to be the poster title for PlayStation Now for awhile first…

I don’t think such a small team would have any kind of skill to port over something as complex as the Naughty Dog engine. It is 100% not these titles.

Journey seems like the best guess. Not sure if the Vita would cope with Uncharted 3 or inFamous 2 though (or The Last Of Us mentioned below).
