Mass Effect Andromeda is out on March 21st but we already have information on its system requirements for PC and now the download size also has been confirmed by the developers.
Mass Effect Andromeda is a huge open world game so it appears to have a download size similar other games in the genre. According to the lead game designer, Ian S. Frazier, stated that the download size for Mass Effect Andromeda on PS4 and Xbox One will be somewhere between 45 to 60 GB. The hard disk requirements on PC list 55 GB space so we can assume the size is around that number on consoles as well.
While Mass Effect Andromeda hasn’t been confirmed to get a day one patch, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the game getting one after launch. The patch was confirmed to be in developed by Frazier however the series producer, Michael Gamble stated that this might not be 100% correct. This could mean that they are potentially working on a day 0 patch instead, which points towards a patch that ships on disc.
As for Mass Effect Andromeda, the game has recently gone gold and it is currently set for a release on March 21st. It will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
