Capcom recently announced its latest game “Mega Man Legacy Collection” which comprises of the original six Mega Man games. This collection allows both old and new players to experience the classic series from the very start. The collection also features Capcom’s latest engine called the “Eclipse Engine” allowing for a more precise and exact reproduction of the 8-bit game and adding the high-definition finesse to give it a more polished look and feel.
The new game comes with some improvements and additions to the classical series which will challenge the abilities of veteran and new players. It adds a new Museum Mode which consists of a plethora of concept art and high-resolution images which will give fans a trip down memory lane. The other feature is Challenge Mode which is essentially a remix of game-play fragments from all six games resulting in complex trials and situations which will give even the most seasoned player, a run for their money.
The game will be coming out on PS4, Xbox One and PC in the summer and will be available only through digital download. It will launch on the 3DS in winter later this year. The game will carry a price tag of $14.99 and with six classic Mega Man games in one, it’s a bargain!
