Hideo Kojima has recently showed a gameplay teaser of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on the livestream of webcast ‘Kojima Station’. The new gameplay footage was apparently of the PS4 version of the game and showed Snake sneaking around in a cardboard box. You can check it out below.
In the same webcast, Kojima revealed the map size of The Phantom Pain, he also showed a comparison of the map size to the previous Metal Gear Solid games. Check it out from here.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set for a release next year. It has been confirmed for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One. A prologue to The Phantom Pain titled Ground Zeroes was released earlier this year. The Phantom Pain will continue the story from Ground Zeroes and act as an epilogue. This will be the first open world Metal Gear Solid game and will mark the return of Big Boss, voiced by Kiefer Sutherland.
