Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Guide: How To Unlock Sniper Wolf’s Outfit For Quiet

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has a variety of different outfits to unlock for the various characters and one of them is the Sniper Wolf outfit. Quiet uses the Naked outfit by default, which barely covers her in the game, although this is more due to a story reason as explained in the game.

How To Unlock Sniper Wolf’s Outfit for Quiet

To unlock this Outfit for Quiet, you will need to do Mission 40, which is an extreme difficulty mission. Extreme difficulty essentially means that you will be killed by just one hit from Quiet during this mission.

Quiet can be a challenging boss fight so if you are having trouble with beating her, you can try to make a supply drop right on her, which can take a big chunk out of her stamina. This essentially makes the fight a lot easier and you should be able to complete the mission with ease.

This outfit can be purchased once you have completed Mission 40 and defeated Quiet. You can check it out in action below.

In case you still haven’t recruited Quiet, you can read more about recruiting her as a “Buddy” in the game from here.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be out on September 1st for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

Easier way to beat quiet in Episode 40: bring a tank and drive to a good vantage point. She can’t damage you but she’ll shoot anyway and give away her position. You can still get an S-rank doing this.

Or you could just call an air support strike on her head. Though, you’ll lose the rank (I believe)

Thanks for the spoilers you prick

    • You are welcome!

Hang on. You clicked on an article promising to tell you how to unlock something in the game–the very definition of a spoiler–and then you’re complaining when there are spoilers?

Friend, you need to rethink some things in your life.

To unlock some item or an alternative costume is not a story spoiler. You get Quiet way earlier in the game. The fact that you fight her again is a huge spoiler. Essentially this article could have just told that you have to beat mission 40 on extreme without telling what it contains or giving a spoiler warning for more details.
