hmmm it may be starting to be time that I upgrade my cpu. usually when games recommend the i7 3770 then my i5 4670k does perfectly well, I just usually think they say i7 3770 for the hell of it.
in this case though it appears quite specific in picking the i7 4790, I doubt that’s a random picking of cpu to send out as requirements.
I will see how my trusty i5 4670k does. I really hoped my i5 would last until at least next year as that’s when I was going to do my cpu upgrade to an i7.

Don’t worry, your 4670K will be fine, especially if you’ve overclocked it. Most multiplatform games like MGSV are not that CPU heavy at all. A 4790 or even a 4460 is a complete overexaggeration. IMHO this game should run fine on a system with a current gen i3 and a capable enough 2GB graphics card, something like the 750 Ti or the R7 370.

I don’t think this will be that bad a port as Ground Zeroes was pretty well optimized.

I havnt overclocked it…..yet. I think this game will want an overclock maybe. to this day I have never had the need to overclock this cpu as its done wonders and no game has actually maxed the cpu out yet so I guess that does leave hope 🙂
