Konami has released the first gameplay footage for the upcoming Metal Gear game featuring 4 player co-op.
Metal Gear Survive is the first new Metal Gear game that is being developed after Kojima’s departure. It appears to be a co-op based multiplayer game that focuses on the survival of the players from infected creatures that look like zombies.
Konami recently showed the gameplay for Metal Gear Survive at TGS 2016 and you can check it out in the video below.
In the gameplay demo, we can see the players developing various barricades to stop the infected creatures from invading their base. The basic of the gameplay appears to be the same as Metal Gear Solid V. The assets for the map also seem to be recycled from Metal Gear Solid V, which makes this new entry look like a low budget effort.
The aim of the game appears to be ‘Survive’ hence the title Metal Gear Survive. The game will feature 4-player online co-op which might please the fans who wanted a co-op mode in Metal Gear Solid V.
Meta Gear Survive is currently confirmed for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. There is no announced release date for the game yet.
