Metal Gear Survive Second Beta Is Live, Offers In-Game Bonus Items For Final Release

Metal Gear Survive has just received its second beta test that is available to play now on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is being developed by Konami as a spin-off to the Metal Gear Solid series and set in an alternative reality post-apocalyptic world where soldiers from Venom Snake’s Mother Base have to survive against a horde of infected creatures.

If you participate in the beta test, you will be able to enjoy the following items in the final retail version of the game.

  • One FOX HOUND name plate
  • One Metal Gear Rex head accessory
  • One bandana accessory

The second beta test will run from February 16th till February 18th so if you are interested in getting some of these bonus items or looking forward to testing it out before the full launch later next week, you can download and participate in this beta test.

Metal Gear Survive is being developed on Fox Engine and offers support for both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. The game is also launching on February 21st for PC and will retail for $39.99. The game will require an online connection as confirmed through the boxart while it also offers co-op for its main story campaign.
