Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain also features a Chicken Hat mode that can be toggled in the options menu. This essentially turns the game into easy mode. If you are dying a lot in some of the missions, you can be prompted by the game to wear this Chicken Hat. This also restricts the mission ranking to an A rank.

I got a ps4 for xmas ’15 and I’ve been playing using a ps3 since GZ come out early 2014 and I want to say this: the ps4 controls make me want to vomit. Theres no way I’ll ever get used to them. Not to mention ps4 controller is slightly more elongated 🙁

I’ve got some advice if you are ps3>ps4 playing tpp but you can’t approach enemies efficiently: R1 are BINOS, practice that now you are ready. Yeah it’s not a good button that one (R1). Now the correct method to hold the controller is to hold it similar way to driving games, prepared to hit those L2+R1 (fire) and look 1st person is like changing gears (R1 again).

I’m playing it as we speak and I have had no problems with the PS4 controller during this game or any other. In fact it’s my favorite controller thus far.

I bought the game for the PS3 and still stuck with L1 & R1 as aim and shoot. REALLY sucks

Although you gotta love R2 for BINOS ❤️PS3
