Monster Hunter Is Finally Coming To The Nintendo Switch

Monster Hunter fans might be happy to know that they will be getting their portable Monster Hunter fix with the upcoming Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. This game is set to launch on August 28 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. It was initially released for the Nintendo 3DS and later ported to Nintendo Switch.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is a completely different game from the recently released Monster Hunter World. It is more akin to a portable Monster Hunter experience that used to be the main focus for the series before the release of Monster Hunter World.

In case you haven’t really managed to keep up with the series, Monster Hunter Generations is basically a spin-off Monster Hunter game that was an enhanced release of Monster Hunter X. The game was initially released in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. It featured new content but it was still developed on the same base engine as Monster Hunter X. It was renamed to Generations and with the Western release confirmed for August 28th, it is now being called as Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.

If you are itching for some portable Monster Hunter action, this might be just the game for you. It won’t have the visuals and appeal of Monster Hunter World but it is still a solid hunting game that is worth your time.
