Monster Hunter World PC System Requirements Leaked

Capcom will release Monster Hunter World for PC later this year but the PC system requirements for the game have already leaked through the Chinese gaming platform, WeGame, which is owned by Tencent. It has been since taken down but not before others were able to copy the requirements as listed on the website.

Monster Hunter World is not exactly a graphical showcase so the system requirements are rather on the low side of PC gaming hardware. The game requires 25 GB of hard disk space for installation while the recommended system requirements for CPU and GPU demand an i7 paired with GTX 1060. Considering how the GTX 1060 is a middle-entry card on PC, this looks like another good port for PC that has been optimized to run well on a variety of PC hardware.

The full system requirements for Monster Hunter World on PC can be seen below, separated by their minimum and recommended requirements.

Minimum System Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.2GHz
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
  • HDD: 25GB free space
  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or Windows 10

Recommended System Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.4GHz
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
  • HDD: 25GB free space
  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or Windows 10

Monster Hunter World is the best selling Capcom game so far. It has managed to sell through more than 8 million copies across the PS4 and Xbox One. It was also the fastest selling Capcom game beating Resident Evil series and taking the crown for the fastest selling Capcom game.

Capcom is planning to bring the game to PC in Fall 2018 while they haven’t formally announced a release date for it. They did tease announcements for the PC version on July 9th.
