Mortal Kombat X: Here’s How To Fix Error Code CE-34878-0 On PS4

Mortal Kombat X players on the PS4 are currently experiencing an Error Code CE-34878-0, which might make the game unplayable for them.

The cause of this issue is unknown and while there is no patch available yet to fix this issue, there are some temporary fixes available that can help with this issue.

  1. Go to your PlayStation 4 Settings Menu. Go to PlayStation Network -> Account Management and click on Restore License. Make sure to restore all the licenses on your system.
  2. Go to PlayStation 4 Settings Menu, uncheck “Connect to the Internet” and run Mortal Kombat X. After starting the game, go back to Settings menu and check “Connect to the Internet” and start the game.
  3. The last step is to delete all the game data from the PlayStation 4 and this means deleting all the updates, DLCs + the full game install/download from the system. In case you have downloaded the game from PSN, you will need to re-download it again.

If these 3 steps are not able to solve your issue, we recommend waiting for a new patch that should be able to resolve it soon.

Mortal Kombat X was released on April 14th 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

It happened to me after I left the game on rest mode for over a day. Then the game was unplayable. I figured out if I log out and log in as a guest, the game works.
