Call of Duty is without a doubt one of the most popular games in the world. Millions of fans anxiously await the release of every Call of Duty game and play it for countless hours. Ever since the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was leaked, everyone has been super excited for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which might change Call of Duty forever.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place in the year 2054 which is 34 years after the events of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which took place in the year 2020. We saw a lot of fancy weaponry in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 like the Dragonfire, The Claw, Storm PSR, etc. Now that the game takes place in the year 2054, we can expect to see a lot more hi-tech weaponry being introduced to the upcoming CoD.
Sledgehammer Games shared a few images with the fans revealing a couple of weapons, equipment and vehicles which the fans will be able to use in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
The Plasma Rifle might look familiar as it can seen mounted on the SUV in the debut trailer of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
3D Printer Rifle
This is a weapon which really shows just how futuristic the game will be. The magazine is filled with a liquid that turns into solid as you press the trigger. Now that is awesome!
The Exo-Skeleton Suit is something everyone is talking about. The Debut trailer showcased some of the abilities the person wearing the suit gets, like super strength, super jump, hover, dodge and more, but the real question is, how much of that will we see in the multiplayer. We’ll just have to wait and see.
A cross between a Motorbike and a Snowmobile, the hover bike is designed to deflect enemy fire and it makes the hover bike more aerodynamic. We don’t know whether or not the hover bike will be apart of the multiplayer and if it is, then how will it be implemented in the multiplayer, but it will give the game a new feel if we had a vehicle for transport instead of running everywhere.
Aircraft and Tanks
The Aircrafts and Tanks in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be quite beefy making them more durable so that they can take a lot more damage before going down. We’ve seen Tanks in Call of Duty multiplayer before so can this be the return of tanks to multiplayer?
Sledgehammer Games say they will have different types of technology in their game but the game will still play like a Call of Duty game. It’s awesome to see how innovative Sledgehammer Games is and maybe this is what the fans have been asking for. Hopefully Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare won’t be as disappointing as Call of Duty: Ghosts which completely destroyed the Call of Duty series.
