Bandai Namco Entertainment has just put up a brand new trailer for Dark Souls 3’s upcoming DLC, Ashes of Ariandel. The trailer this time around is PvP (Player Vs. Player) oriented, and reveals some brand new multiplayer features that were hinted at when the first trailer for the DLC dropped.
The expansion will feature a brand new PvP exclusive map titled Hollow Arena, where players will be able to both infuse their weapons, and refill their Estus Flasks before heading into battle. Ashes of Ariandel will also allow, for the first time in the series, 3v3 multiplayer brawls.
Ashes of Ariandel takes players to a new winter themed area named Ariandel, and will task them with defeating the evil that has defiled the land. Multiplayer aside, the DLC will also bring with it 15 new weapons, 4 new armor sets, 4 New Sorceries, Miracles, Pyromancies, and 2 brand new Bosses.
The DLC will cost $14.99, free for Season Pass holders, and is the first of two DLC expansions planned for the game, with the second one set to come out in early 2017.
Ashes of Ariandel is set to release on the 25th of October, 2016, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC. You can also check out our review for the game here.
