Set for a release later this month, Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is an enhanced port of the first Darksiders game for the PC and current generation consoles. Now, publisher THQ Nordic has released a brand new teaser trailer for the game.
The teaser, shown below, shows off some of the improved gameplay and cinematic cutscenes from the game. Also, on top of the fact that the game will render at native 1080p on consoles, we have also now learned that the game will receive 4k support for both the PC and the PlayStation 4 Pro. How this will look for a nearly 7 year old game, we will just have to wait and see.
The full list of features present in Darksiders: Warmastered Edition can be found below:
- PS4, Xbox One and Wii U versions of Darksiders (Wrath of War)
- Native 1080p rendering resolution for console platforms
- 4k support for PC and PS4 Pro
- Doubled all the texture resolutions
- Rendering improvements and rework
- 60 FPS in moment to moment gameplay (30 for Wii U)
Deceived into prematurely bringing about the apocalypse, Darksiders places players into the role of War, one of the 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse. After being stripped of his powers, our protagonist is then thrust onto earth to find those responsible for disgracing him.
Darksiders Warmastered Edition is set to be released on 22nd November, 2016, for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. The PC version will then follow on 29th November.
