Ni No Kuni 2 Confirmed To Be PS4 Console Exclusive, No Xbox One Version Planned

Ni No Kuni 2 was recently rumored to be releasing for the Xbox One aside from the PS4 and PC. The game was originally announced a a console exclusive to PS4 so this new rumor cast doubt over its console exclusivity. After the news was out in the wild, Bandai Namco has taken it to Twitter to confirm that the game is only heading to PS4 and PC via Steam.

The response was shared by Gematsu on Twitter who asked a Bandai Namco PR about the release of the Xbox One version of the game. The origin of the rumor was IGN Spain who stated that the game might head to Xbox One as a digital release while the PS4 version will be released at retail.

The confirmation about the PS4 and Steam version is not surprising since when it was originally revealed at PSX 2015, the game was revealed as a PS4 Console Exclusive. Even though contracts can possibly change, there has been never any indication that this is the case for Ni No Kuni 2 so far.

Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom will be released on January 19th, 2018 for the PS4 and PC.
