Nintendo 3DS Emulator Runs First Commercial Game At Nearly Full Speed

If you were keeping track of the on-going development on Nintendo 3DS emulator on the PC, you should have seen that the emulator is already able to play through the first game, albeit at a slow speed. You can read more about this development from here.

It seems like the developers are working on Nintendo 3DS emulation at a rapid pace as evident by their latest video, which shows Legend of Zelda: Ocarnia of Time 3D being emulated at near full speed. What’s remarkable here is that there is no speed hack involved here, just the regular game being played at the intended speed. Check out the video below.

Of course, since this is still a very early work-in-progress version of the emulator, the graphics are not perfect. There are plenty of glitches and the game might not be playable. Still, it is a remarkable progress update from the developers and shows that Nintendo 3DS could be fully emulated in due time on PC.

What do you think about this new video of the Nintendo 3DS emulator? Let us know in the comments below.

LOL….dude you’re right. But xD most have a 3ds with us and we want 3ds emulator to play with faster speed mostly and another thing is playing some less popular games that you don’t want to waste money on. ^o3o^

This should read ” 2DS emulated”, they can’t emulate the actual 3D. But oh do I plan to see many forum threads with noobs asking “how can I get the 3d effect in this emulator”. Sigh.
