Nintendo Direct Announced For March 8th, Will Cover Nintendo 3DS And Switch Games

Nintendo has announced a brand new direct that will be livestreamed tomorrow on March 8th at 22:00 GMT. This direct is expected to be atleast half hour long so it seems to be a rather substantial one. Nintendo has usually used a direct in the start of a year to showcase major games that will be released for their hardware throughout the year, and this time should be no exception.

The direct was officially confirmed by a tweet made by Nintendo of America. As for its content, they confirmed that the direct will cover both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.

Mario Tennis Aces will also get new gameplay details in this upcoming direct so expect to see a dedicated segment for it. Still, there is more than enough time to either share new announcements or updates on already announced projects like Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Switch.

Nintendo Switch has been a great success so far for Nintendo. It has already sold its predecessor, Nintendo Wii U, and is on pace to sell like the Nintendo Wii while facing high demand. It has also received some of the most critically acclaimed games released this generation so far, and this is within its first year.
