Overwatch Official Website Teases Doomfist As A New Character

Overwatch is getting a new hero soon as teased earlier by the developer Blizzard Entertainment. The latest character to be added to Overwatch is the fan favorite Doomfist, previously only seen as a part of official artwork.

In a news post on the official Overwatch website, the news snippet teased the addition of Doomfist with the following paragraph.

However, after recent events in Numbani, it can now be confirmed that what occurred was an attack by the Talon organization with the express purpose of freeing one man: Akande Ogundimu, better known as Doomfist.

Doomfist has been rumored to be voiced by Terry Crews although there is nothing officially announced for it yet. Terry Crews first expressed interest in voicing the character when he visited the Overwatch developers and fans have been since hoping that he is selected for that role.

Overwatch features a robust set of characters with a wide variety of background. It is one of the most popular team-based online multiplayer shooter by Blizzard Entertainment with a massive popularity spike in Asia including China. The game has more than 20 million users making it one of the biggest new IP of this generation.
