Persona 5 Is Finally Playable From Start To End On PC

Persona 5 is a critically and commercially successful JRPG from Atlus. The game is available for PS3 and PS4 and released this April. While there is no official PC version of the game, and neither Atlus has any plans for such a version, it is now finally playable from start to end on the PlayStation Emulator, RPCS3.

This statement was made by the developers of the RPCS3 PlayStation 3 emulator where they also shared some information on the emulation state of the game on PC. Those who have purchased Persona 5 on PS3 will be able to rip their files to PC and can emulate it through RPCS3.

While the game is playable without any major issues, the frame rate is still something that needs to be improved as the developers claim that it currently runs at an unlocked frame rate that can reach 10 to 20 fps in school and around Tokyo during free roam, and 20 to 30 fps during battles and dungeon exploration. The development build is still work-in-progress so there are still room for further optimization, but the major issues have been resolved for now.

Persona 5 is currently available exclusively for the PS3 and PS4. It was developed and published by Atlus. The game is the 5th mainline entry in the Persona series which is a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series.

Note: GearNuke strongly discourages any piracy related discussion. If you are interested in emulation, we recommend to purchase a PS3 along with Persona 5 so you can rip your own copy of the game to PC.
