Persona 5 Reviewed By Edge Magazine, Scores Lower Than Persona 4: Golden

Edge Magazine has reviewed Persona 5 in their latest issue and the score for it has been revealed. Edge is a popular gaming magazine that has survived through countless generations and their opinion on a game carries a lot of weight. In their issue #305, set for May, they have reviewed a bunch of games included Persona 5.

The review score for Persona 5 is a solid 8, which is a petty good score. However if we compare it to Persona 4 and Persona 4: Golden, it is just a point below these two games’ score of 9. This doesn’t necessarily mean much in the grand scheme of things since both games were reviewed by different person. For further comparison, Edge rewarded Persona 3 with a 7 score, which can be considered average at that time.

The full review scores given by Edge in their issue #305 can be seen below. If you are interested in reading the review, you can buy the subscription for the magazine.

Nier Automata [8]
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands [4]
Persona 5 [8]
For Honor [8]
Halo Wars 2 [7]
Night in the Woods [8]
1-2-Switch [6]
Snipperclips: Cut it Out, Together [8]
Super Bomberman [4]

Persona 5 is set to launch early next month for the PS3 and PS4. It is the first mainline Persona game in the last 10 years and the first one to get a release on the PS4.
