At its E3 2015 Treehouse event, Nintendo conducted a lengthy gameplay presentation for Star Fox Zero. In the video, representatives from Nintendo announced that Platinum Games is co-developing the game with Nintendo. Not only that, but the director of Bayonetta 2, Yusuke Hashimoto, has a key role in its development.
Star Fox Zero brings back series favorite Fox McCloud as well as his wingmen, Slippy Toad, Peppy Hare, and Falco Lombardi. The gameplay walkthrough shown during the Treehouse event takes us through both planetary combat encounters in large-scale environments as well as even bigger battles that occur in outer space.
