Playstation 4 and Xbox One Launch Exclusives compared (Gamescom edition)

Both Microsoft and Sony had their conferences at the on going Gamescom conference in Germany where both parties announced new games. Some of them were full retail titles while others were digital only. Indies dominated the show but fans of AA and AAA titles need not worry as they’ll get their due attention in time. JRPGs were also absent but that was to be expected, expect more of them at September’s Tokyo Game Show.

Below are the retail launch titles for both the Xbox One and Playstation 4 revealed so far.

  • Dead Rising 3
  • Fighter Within
  • Forza Motorsport 5

I’m quite sure there are a lot more PS4 launch titles… proper research and make a FULL list. Including the F2P games like Warframe or any MMO.

Also, I’d assume this list is catering the Exclusives rather than all the multiplatforms that will be coming at launch? The list for Post Launch on PS4 is masssssssssssive, exclusive or otherwise.

Oh yes warface a game with 2006 graphics that a 2007 midrange pc can max.

      Freaking idiot.

Nonsense list, it’s confirmed that there are 33 PS4 launch games, and 23 XBO launch games.

    • These are exclusives.

Yeah haha I jumped the gun a bit. However even at that, the list is incomplete and the PS4 does in fact have more exclusives.

Both systems Lauch titles seem dry. The only ones that I view interesting is Ryse (it is something new) and Killzone.(I like the KZ series but it is no Halo killer). Dead rising 2 was boring, so DR3 at the moment doesn’t seem engaging. The post launch IMo is where it gets interesting and that why I am leaning with the PS4. InFamous just look like fun as well as The order. This is going to be an expensive year as I plan to buy both, but I am more of a Sony fan when it comes to games, everything else is for the Xbox.
