Pokemon GO Breaks App Store Download Record

Pokemon GO is currently one of the most popular games in the world. We recently reported on Pokemon GO passing Candy Crush Saga as the game with the most active users in the U.S. Since then, the app has continued its growth in popularity, and has set one record after another.

Pokemon GO set a new App Store record, as the game with the highest number of downloads in its first week of release. Apple, themselves, have confirmed the record, however, they did not give an exact number.

Since the release of Pokemon GO back on July 6th, the app has maintained its number 1 spot at the top of the App Store. After the app’s great success, other companies such as Razer, have come out with their own Pokemon GO related app. Razer recently released an app called RazerGO. RazerGO allows Pokemon GO players to chat with each other, no matter where they are in the world. The app is very convenient, as players from the same Pokemon teams can communicate among themselves and complete team objectives with ease.
