Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun Confirmed For Nintendo 3DS In Late 2016, Trailer Released

Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun have been confirmed for the Nintendo 3DS in the latest Nintendo Direct. This was revealed by Game Freak, the developer of Pokemon series. The game has also been confirmed to release in 9 languages including English, Italiano and Simplified Chinese.

While the new games were confirmed for Late 2016, Nintendo didn’t exactly show any gameplay footage of these games and instead just showed some behind the scenes footage of the development of the game. We did get some teases through the concept art seen in the video. You can watch this video below.

From the announcement video, this appears to be a new generation Pokemon game. It will also allow users to transfer their Pokemon from Pokemon from Red/Blue/Green/Yellow if they have the Nintendo eShop version of these games.
