Pokemon Sun and Moon – Transfer Greninja From Demo To Full Game

Before Nintendo released Pokemon Sun and Moon, players got a chance to play the demo for the game. The demo sent players on a journey, like every Pokemon game, and you had a Pokemon by your side for help.

In the demo, your primary Pokemon is Ash-Greninja. This Pokemon isn’t just available in the demo, as you can keep it permanently. After you are done with Professor Kukui’s quest in the demo, you can easily transfer Ash’s Greninja to the full version of the game.

How To Transfer Greninja To Pokemon Sun and Moon:

First, you have to complete the demo. Progress through the demo until you are sent back to the title screen after an ad video. Once you’ve done that, start up the demo again and talk to Prof. Kukui in the Pokemon Center. Ask him to transfer your items to the full game, and select Greninja in the Pokemon tab. You can transfer Pokemon, alongside any items that you think might be useful in the full game.

Once you’ve deposited your Greninja and your items, go to any Pokemon Center in the full game. You will see a new NPC near the counter, go talk to him. He will tell you that he is a messenger and he has your items. In order to get your Greninja from this guy, you must have an empty slot in your Party. You can retrieve your Greninja when you have freed up some space in your Party.

Keep in mind that this Greninja will not listen to you until you have completed at least 2 Islands. Like in every other Pokemon game, high level Pokemon will not listen to their trainers if they have not progressed far enough into the game.

Another thing to remember is that Greninja’s Stats, Nature and Characteristics might not be the same in the full game, as they were in the demo. However, you will get him at around level 36. This will give you a big advantage in the early parts of the game, even if he does not listen to you.

Pokemon Sun and Moon are developed by GameFreak and published by Nintendo, and are available on the Nintendo 3DS.
