Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are available now for the Nintendo 3DS in North America. If you are one of those users who have managed to get a copy early, and want to avoid capturing each Pokemon in order to gain their entry in your Pokedex, you can try to scan the QR codes for them as a shortcut to unlocking them.
These QR codes were shared in a giant album on Imgur and cover around 472 different type of Pokemon. You need to scan these QR codes with your Nintendo 3DS to unlock the corresponding Pokemon entry in your Pokedex, which in turn allows you to find their location on the world map.
Of course, you can also take the hard way and simply encounter and capture every Pokemon yourself, but it will take quite a while before you can get them all!
