Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon Might Be Coming To Nintendo Switch – Report

Nintendo has just announced two new Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS. These announcements were made in a new direct aimed at the Pokemon franchise and was streamed today. The direct revealed Pokemon Tournament DX for the Nintendo Switch and Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. The surprising lack of mention for the Nintendo Switch for the mainline Pokemon games took fans by surprise since there was a rumor earlier about Pokemon Stars, an enhanced Pokemon Sun and Moon release for the Nintendo Switch.

In a surprise twist, the official Pokemon press site apparently lists the game coming to the Nintendo Switch along with the Nintendo 3DS. There is no confirmation that the game will indeed come to the Switch since the press site was updated rather quickly to remove any mention of the Nintendo Switch as a platform. However it won’t be surprising to see these games getting a Switch port later down the line.

Right now, you will be able to pick Pokken Tournament DX for the Nintendo Switch this November and Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon for the Nintendo 3DS.

Let us know what do you think about the announcements made at the Nintendo Direct today in the comments below.
