PS Plus July 2016 Games Announcements Expected This Week, Japan Gets The Evil Within

PS Plus games for July 2016 will be announced this week. While the full PlayStation Plus games lineup for the month of July 2016 hasn’t been revealed yet for Europe and North America, we do know the confirmed games for Japan.

The Evil Within appears to be one of the games which has been confirmed for PS Plus in Japan for the month of July 2016. The game will be available to the PS Plus subscribers in Japan next month. Compared to Japan, we don’t have any official confirmation for the games lineup for North America and Europe, which is usually drastically different from what is released in Japan.

PlayStation Europe community manager did confirm that the games will be announced in the last week of July at the “usual” time, although she didn’t specify the time. Judging from the earlier announcements, we could get the official PS+ games confirmation on Wednesday. These games are usually given in the first Tuesday of the month, which makes it July 5th.

Last month, the entire PS4 lineup for PlayStation Plus was leaked more than a week early. It was then later confirmed to be Gone Home and NBA 2K16 for the PS4. There has been no solid leak for the month of July 2016, but hopefully Sony keeps the good will from the previous month and releases another AAA game for the PS+ subscribers.

Let us know what games do you expect to be announced for PS Plus next month. Are you excited for the upcoming announcement? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Evil Within was available in June for Japan. Not July. It is rumored to be available for NA/EU in July
