I have no problem with the ps4 releases, honestly kinda like it. My only real complaint is the ps3 releases. I guess its up to personal preference though

Because the ps3 was lagging behind the x360, for several years, and Sony really needed to attract more gamers into buying the ps+ subscription,
I remember being ‘flooded’ by countless free ps3 games, from small titles to triple A. I still must have like 50-100 games on my ps3 backlog I have yet to play ! Sony even gave us full titles like mass effect 3, lbp, motorstorm apocalypse, and MANY MANY others.

today, it is clear Sony doesn’t need to offer 300 ps4 games in order to make people buy the ps+. With not too far from 50 million ps4 units sold, in just 2.5 years, compared to the ~20 million ‘sent to retailers’ Xbox1, Sony’s position doesn’t require such efforts.

That’s why, there were barely no FULL AAA ps4 titles on the ps+, during almost 30 months. Only last may, Tropico 5 was free. Otherwise, 95% of the free titles on ps4, we’re just average-sized indie games.

The lack of competition is clearly a really bad thing. If tomorrow, Microsoft started offering 2 full games per month, like titanfall or ryse, Sony Would also start offering some great aaa titles. ..

Can’t wait for the Nintendo nx console. If it is a powerful system, it might force Sony and Microsoft to rethink their strategy a bit, and start offering more stuff to their gamers.

Walking Simulator and Generic Sports Iteration **current year**.
    Worst lineup ever.

    • YNOTT

      What generic sports iteration?

      • Rob

Sports games: Yearly releases, minor (if any) updates, watered down and served cold.

        • YNOTT

It’s not like the real game of basketball changes much, so all you can really do is make minor updates. Although I wouldn’t call it watered down. The only thing I hate about it is that people only pick the Warriors and like a handful of other teams when playing online which gets kind of boring after a while. Other than that it’s an excellent game.

And typical, complainy, whiny fantard. Typical comment.

      • Rob

Typical reactionary fantard who can’t understand why paying customers are allowed to criticize.

    • Mr.Gone

Well Rob, I would rather have the “Generic Sports Iteration” than Goat
Sim, which one can beat in 2 hours.

      • Rob

Not sure how that is relevant.
        It’s not a binary choice.

        • Mr.Gone

So, your answer is a non-answer.
          Got it.
