PS3 Mandatory Firmware Update 4.75 Released, Changelog Detailed

Sony has released a mandatory firmware update for the PS3. This new firmware update’s the system software to version 4.75 and in addition to the system software, the PlayStation Store on PS3 has also received an update to version 1.16.

As for the changelog, it is more of a stability update instead of a feature rich update. You can check out the changelog below.

“The stability of the operation of the system software has been improved.”

The last update for the PS3 was for system software 4.70 so this is a tiny increment to system software 4.75, hence the simple stability update.

    Looks like I”ll be cracking open my phatty 60GB, because 4.75 killed my wifi, and 4.76 hasn’t fixed the issue. :/
