List Of Games That Support PS4 Pro Forward Compatibility

Sony has recently announced the PS4 Pro, an upgraded iteration of the older PS4 model. This new hardware is twice as powerful as the original PS4, and as a result, it will also run games at a much better frame rate and resolution than the original PS4.

While we don’t really have a full list of games available for PS4 Pro, we did get a partial list of games that were confirmed for PS4 Pro at the recently held live stream event. The titles that are featured below will be forward compatible with PS4 Pro, and it also includes some unreleased games.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Killing Floor 2
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Infamous: First Light
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

Spider Man
For Honor
Watch Dogs 2
Days Gone
Farpoint (PSVR)
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Mass Effect Andromeda
Final Fantasy XV
Dishonored 2
Skyrim Special Edition

PS4 Pro packs a 4.2 TFlops GPU while retaining the same Jaguar CPU with 8-cores but a higher base clock frequency. The extra GPU power will be utilized to offer improved visual fidelity or performance.

When you say “forward compatible” do you mean these games are confirmed to benefit from the upgraded specs? Because all PS4 games are required to play on both systems.

    • Yes, it means that those prior games will get patches to take advantage of the upgrade while the other games will work but will treat the console the same as the first version meaning no improvement in graphics.

Ok thanks, any source for Skyrim? That is the main game I was interested in on the list. I preordered my PSPro yesterday and finally made the plunge and bought a 4K tv (with HDR)

Also Elder Scrolls Online and Battlefield One are going to support the Pro.

Bethesda said that Elder Scrolls Online is going to be 4K. I am just hoping that Skyrim gets a similar treatment. That would be awesome 🙂
