Quantum Break PC System Requirements Updated, GTX 970 Recommended; More Info About PC Version In Feb

Remedy Entertainment has updated the official system requirements for Quantum Break on PC. Now they have listed three difference requirements: Minimum, Recommended and Ultra. The Minimum and Ultra specs are the same as before but now the Recommended specs have changed. We would assume that the Ultra specs are required for running the game at a resolution of 4K on PC.

Quantum Break is currently confirmed for Windows 10 and there is no information on a Steam version yet. Head of PR at Remedy Entertainment, Thomas Puha confirmed that they will share more details about the Windows 10 PC version in February.

 

He talks more about the demo that the press had to play today and also assures PC users that Remedy will try their best to make the PC version great.

Quantum Break is currently set for a release on April 5th, 2016 for the PC and Xbox One. It is only announced for Windows 10 store on PC and there is no confirmation of a Steam version for now.

    Looks like the i7-2600k 4.4GHZ ,20GB RAM, and R9 295×2 system is reaching EOL me thinks. Ultra with 2K virtual plasma? We’ll see..

    First of all, I guess that without magical DX12 this game would required Core i7-Extreme or even two for ultra! This is going to be a very bad port, I assume.

    Second, there IS NO AMD equivalent to i7 4790.

    Do you have a source for that ? Looking at the tweets, the guy replied ‘no comment’ to the 4k question.
