Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Biggest Downloadable Game On Switch, Requires MicroSD

Capcom has shared some details on the file size for the upcoming Resident Evil Revelations 1+2 collection for the Nintendo Switch. While you will be able to get the first Revelations on the Nintendo Switch in the form of a physical release, the second game that is bundled with the collection is only available through a download code. More importantly, you will need a MicroSD card in order to download the game since the Switch’s internal memory is not enough to cover the download size for it.

These details for the game were shared on the official Capcom Japan website which listed the product specifications for the collection.

Release Date: November 28, 2017
■Required Storage Space:
Resident Evil Revelations (digital) requires 13GB of HD space
Resident Evil Revelations 2 (digital) requires 26GB of HD space
■Genre: Survival horror
■Player(s): 1 (1-2 via online play)
■Platform: Nintendo Switch™
■Ratings: ESRB M

The game will come bundled with all of the post-launch DLCs so these are likely included in the file size. This size is the same as the PS4 release of the game with all of the episodes installed for it. The game also appears to support some of the Switch exclusive features like the HD rumble and motion controls.

Resident Evil Revelations 1+2 is out on the Nintendo Switch this November. You can read our review of Revelations 1 along with Revelations 2 to find out more about the game.
