Resident Evil Revelations 2 Update 1.02 Now Live; Includes Online Multiplayer and Improved Stability

Resident Evil Revelations 2 has just received a brand new update 1.02, which has finally introduced online multiplayer for the players in Raid mode.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 missed online multiplayer at launch but the developers assured that it will be available for the game after its release, and it seems like the latest update has added the online multiplayer for the game’s Raid mode.

You can read the patch notes for Update 1.02 below.

  • Added online co-op for Raid mode.
  • Makes Resident Evil.Net event playable.
  • Fixed various issues and improved stability

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a spin-off of the main Resident Evil series, that continues the story in a separate direction from the mainline games. This time, the game stars Claire Redfield and Moira Burton, daughter of Barry Burton. Barry Burton also plays a key role in the game and is one of the main controllable characters.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 was released digitally and retail on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. It is also set to release for the PS Vita at a later date, ported by Sony’s Third Party Productions Team.

Would be nice if the raid update was actually released for the Xbox one… Just saying

It’s a real disappointment online campaign co-op is not supported in this game

I actually agree,.I’ve always preferred Xbox over PlayStation since the 360 was first released, but the amount of.problems I’ve had with the Xbox one is enough to put anyone off. I’m genuinely considering switching to PS4. And the wait just for co op to be included on Xbox one is absolutely ridiculous. When we’re told the 31st of March, we expect it on the 31st of March!

is there a reason we know NOTHING about the Xbox One update?
    -eyes me wanting a PS4 more&more everyday

and why is everyone whining about the story mode being 1 player? It’s the most classic to a Resident Evil game we’ve had in a LONG time. these are most likely the same people who whined that RE5 & RE6 allowed multiplayer in the first place.

I still can’t believe we don’t have the update yet for xb1. >.< ps4 is looking mighty tempting about now.

I agree with you. However, having an AI partner is dumb, I’d rather have a friend control the other character, but my first wish would be to not have any partner at all!
