Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox 360 vs. Xbox One Screenshot Comparison Released

Rise of the Tomb Raider gets more details during E3 2015 Square Enix Conference

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Since there is a generation’s difference between both platforms, it should be interesting to see how the game holds up on the older hardware.

Square Enix has released a set of new screenshots of the Xbox 360 and Xbox One version of the game showing the difference between both in detail. You can check out these comparison screenshots below (via AGB).

We are honestly surprised that the game holds up well on the Xbox 360, but it was expected since it apparently uses the Tomb Raider reboot engine from Xbox 360 and Definitive Edition engine with “significant enhancements” for the Xbox One.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be out on November 10th for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It is a timed exclusive for the Xbox in 2015 and will be released for PC in early 2016 and PS4 in Holiday 2016.

Thanks for the article Khurran! Just want to inform all folks who live outside US that Xbox 360 is a great media Player. If you want to access Netflix and other streaming stations on your Xbox 360 you can use UnoTelly as I do to get around the geo block.

Laura’s dirtier on Xbox one. I like them dirty, and murderously psychopathic.

You can see the difference but the 360 version still looks stunning!

  • Rob K

    Hardly any difference

Pretty noticeable difference to me. Especially on Lara herself. But still worth getting if 360 is your only option.
