ROCCAT reveals the ROCCAT Tyon Gaming Mouse

The tease time is over folks, German PC peripheral manufacturer ROCCAT has finally revealed the long awaited ROCCAT Tyon gaming mouse. The Tyon is their new flagship gaming mouse and is packed with the latest and great software to allow gamers to get that distinctive edge over the competition.

Announced through Press Release, ROCCAT revealed that the ROCCAT Tyon features a whooping 16 assignable buttons with 31 distinct possible functions with on the go ability to change thanks to the Easy-Shift[+] Button. Another new feature of the ROCCAT Tyon is the X-Celerator, which is a two way analog stick with completely customizable functionality. Adding on features on top of features, the ROCCAT Tyon also has a Dorsal Fin, a two click button located just behind the mouse wheel. The Dorsal Fin allows players to easily execute actions with their middle fingers removing further keyboard actions and optimizing your way of playing.

On the hardware side of things, the Tyon has 576kB of on-board memories to store macros and functions and a 8600 DPI Pro-Aim Laser Sensor for light fast movement. Like most ROCCAT products you can also the lighting on the mouse through dedicated software. The Tyon will be available in Black and White color choices.

We’re huge fans of ROCCAT’s previous flagship – the Kone Pure Optical which we get a 9.1 in our review. We don’t know the exact price of the Tyon or when it will be available yet, but we’ll keep you guys updated as we find out more.
