The PC base (and the next-gen console users) have been waiting for almost a year to play Rockstar’s latest installment of the Grand Theft Auto series. Recently, some news started surfacing that the PC version would be canceled and the console version delayed to 2015. As expected, this cause quite a stir among the GTA followers.

Due to this, another concerned user decided to contact Rockstar himself on the support forums and ask for clarification.

Is GTA 5 For PC being delayed?

Rumours are saying its going to be delayed, an i really want to get my hands on it! Ive been waiting tooooo long 🙁
Luckily for him, the reply he got from the support staff was a positive one and they denied any such rumours. As Steve of the Rockstar Support said
I’m also looking forward to the PC release, however this release date has not changed. Please see our support article, “Grand Theft Auto V Release Date on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC” for the most recent information on this topic.
This news would come as music to the ears of GTA fans (specially the PC users) who had been in the dark for many months before the PC version was confirmed by Rockstar.
GTA V was released late last year on Xbox 360 and PS3 and the next gen version is expected to hit the shelves in Fall this year. We’ll keep you updated if more information is made available!
